British Cream Tea toy food

Here at Babygadget, we like to think that, if nothing else, we’ve steered the world’s parents towards a comprehensive collection of the best toy food out there. Today, however, I present to you something quite unexpected: toy food based on some true British classics.
Are our global readers familiar with these things, I wonder? Well, surely everyone understands strawberries and cream, above (£15.00).
But how about Iced Gems, below (£16)? I’m not sure whether these tiny biscuits, each topped with a sugary peak, are known outside the UK. Believe me, this is a very good rendition.

I’m also impressed with the sausage roll, £16, below. Apparently each one is slightly different, but all feature a degree of authentic-looking burnt pastry on top.

If you’re at all familiar with Cornish pasties, sugar mice, Liquorice Allsorts, Blackpool rock, Fab ice lollies, Custard Creams or Jammie Dodgers – or indeed if you are just a mad Anglophile, British Cream Tea will provide some worthy additions to your toy food collection. Beware, though, because as you can see from the prices, such slavish imitation doesn’t come cheap.
