I just learned that LEMON OIL (about $3.50 a bottle at walmart in the cleaning aisle) is SUPER TERRIFIC for glass shower doors. It just wipes soapscum off…it is a miracle, I am telling you!
Now, please share your favorite cleaning tip!
It is not for the floor….only for the glass DOOR! So slippery-ness does not matter

I love to use cheap shampoo to clean the shower with. Apply it with a dishwashing wand (the kind you put soap in the handle). Mine has a scrubbie sponge (non-scratch) and it is almost effortless!
I’ll try the lemon oil – thanks for the tip – but does it make the shower floor slippery?
Bluing will get most whites clean without the chemical smell of bleach. Also, lemon juice and peroxide will get out most stains.
I have found that dishwater detergent will remove almost any stain on materials. If you use the dry you have to add water to make a paste but the liquid works well too. Just be careful because it is strong and could take out colors if not usedcarefully. Lemon oil sounds good. however I find that body washes leaves no soap scum and just a sweegee works fine on glassdoors.
The best thing I do is get rid of things (toss or donate). It’s hard to toss something you paid good money for (especially if it has tags on it), but I never miss it when it’s gone. A lot of it can go to good will for a tax write off as well.
If I go more than a month without wearing something, it goes in the spare closet. Once a year, I go through that closet and force myself to donate or toss 50%.
You will be surprised how easy it is to organize and keep things clean when you have less “stuff” to deal with.
I use white vinegar to clean just about everything. There are many websites that show you how to use vinegar. I mostly use it undiluted. I clean bathroom and kitchen with it. The smell goes away when it is dry. And no need to rinse, even on kitchen countertops.
for cleanin copper my tip is to wet it sprinkle it with salt get a lemon and clean it then pour vinegar over it and let set for a few minutes and then rinse off
