beef recipe
itsnotenough asked:

I’m going to buy a lot of beef patties, and I already have some in my freezer. I’m trying to plan my meals for a whole month. I will have a lot of ground beef, so I’m trying to figure out what to make. I’m going to do hamburgers of course, tacos, and I’ll use the ground beef also to make spaghetti. But I need some other food ideas that I can use the beef patties for. Any simple recipes or ideas that do not require too many ingredients. Thanks.

  1. Kiwi says:

Stuffed bell peppers with ground beef, mushrooms and, onions.

  2. valerie2275c says:

    chili with beans, over rice
    meatloaf
meatballs – i add frozen chopped spinach to get a veggie in
    stuffed peppers

I make this easy stovetop ziti – brown beef with onion, add sauce and mix that in to a big pot with cooked ziti, parmesan cheese and cubed or shredded mozzarella cheese. You can bake it just to crisp the top, but its good right from the stove

  3. Big Bad Mama says:

ground beef and onion cooked till done, then add cooked macaroni and some canned tomatoes.
Add ground beef to mac and cheese.
Cook ground beef and onions till done, add a bag of frozen vegetables and cook till done. Add cooked leftover potatoes too if desired.
We love these recipes. Hope you do too.

  4. perfectly flawed says:

Brown some ground beef and drain
add a can of corn, a can of water (just use the empty corn can) and a packet of taco seasoning
Bring to a boil and add a can’s worth of instant rice.
Let it set until the rice is cooked, add some cheese, sour cream and/or salsa as you like.

My family usually eats this with tortilla chips

    OR

    Brown ground beef and drain
add a can of cream of mushroom soup and a can of corn
    Salt and pepper to taste
Heat & Serve over mashed potatoes (I normally just use the instant for this recipe since it’s meant to be quick and easy!)

Both of these are family favorites – they’re quick and easy and I usually have all (or at least most) of the ingredients in my cupboards anyway.

    1 tb of cumin
1 8 oz. can of tomato paste

Brown the ground beef and then add all the ingredients. Let simmer for 30 minutes.

    Shepherd’s Pie
    1 lb ground beef
    1 zucchini
    1 onion
    8 oz. mushrooms
    1 bell pepper
    1 cup corn
    1 cup peas
    1 cup diced carrot
1 can diced or whole tomatoes
    4 medium potatoes
    1 tb. basil
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cups cheddar cheese

Peel and boil the potatoes. Mash and set aside.

Brown the ground beef and add the veggies (you can substitute other veggies for any you don’t like). Add all other ingredients, let simmer for about 15 minutes.

Put the ground beef mix into a casserole dish. Add 1 cup of cheese to the mashed potatoes and spoon over the top of the casserole. Spread the other cup of cheese over the top of the potatoes and bake at 350 just until the cheese is browned.

You could make meatball sub sandwiches, just make meatballs with hamburger some onion, a little oregano and some breadcrumbs, brown then put in the oven until done. Take your 6 or 12 inch sub bun use a little butter or olive oil and toast it in the oven, add your meatballs, some cheese, more onion, green peppers and some sloppy joe sauce or just some red sauce.

    Hamburger Casserole
Mix the browned hamburger with some macaroni, peppers, onions, zucchini and
cheese, top with breadcrumbs, a few dabs of butter and throw in the oven at 325 for 15-20 mintues until the top is golden brown

  7. bottle_o_scotch says:

    1 kilogram of ground beef,
put in wide pan and cook gently while stirring and get it all cooked, will take about 10 to 15 minutes.
add 2 cups water, 1 large onion finley chopped, 1 large carrot diced, I like to put peas and corn in it to.
bring to boil and simmer untill vegetables are tender, about 30 to 40 minutes
add more water if required, it should look like soup, add seasoning,
I use a thickening agent, = gravox it seasons and thickens, if you dint hthickenerkner add cornflour, mix with water add slowly while stirring, be careful net get lumps
you can serve with boiled mashed potatoes, put what is not required into freezer, when you want to eat the frozen food you can add curry and serve with rice

There is a familiar sound to this

In that I occasionaly make that traditional Brit meal with minced (ground) beef that be cottage pie

The family love it, in that it is just fried beef in veg. oil, plenty of red onion, boiled carrot slices, garlic, ketchup.

Topped with lots of creamy mashed potato (plenty of butter & milk,)and grated cheese on top
Then grilled and served in big squares with baked beans.

    enchiladas with beef.
    Gebhart Chili Powder
    Corn tortillas
    Shredded Cheese
    onions
    garlic
    cumin
    water
    ground beef
Fry your ground beef and add onions, cumin, garlic fresh, a whole bottle of the gebhart chili and cover with water.

Soft fry your corn tortillas and stuff and roll them in fresh chopped onions, beef mixture and shredded cheese and roll em up.
line a deep pan with the rolled up corn tortillas. When you are stuffing the enchiladas with the beef drain your spoon and then put the beef in them.
Save your chili water and when you are done pour the entire chili gravy on top of the enchiladas and the flour from the tortillas and cheese will make it thick when you cook it.
Bake for 30 minutes max on 350 degree oven. Remember the meal is already cooked you are just melting the cheese and thickening the gravy.
