Article by Colin P

If you are like many women (and not a few men) in the 21 st century, you regularly are on the hunt for effective antiaging products. Each and every week, there literally are a number of different antiaging products being introduced onto the marketplace. As a result, as you search for antiaging products, it can be a rather confusing and complicated process in many instances.

If you are seeking an effective antiaging product at this point in time, there are a number of factors and pointers that you should keep and bear in mind. First of all, products that contain antioxidants are valuable for their antiaging properties. Therefore as you seek an antiaging product for your own skin care needs, be on the alert for those antiaging products that do contain antioxidants within their makeup.

In addition to looking for antiaging products that contain antioxidants, you need to keep some other facts in mind as you seek antiaging assistance. In this regard, you need to remember that you will need to develop an antiaging regimen if you really want to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. To this end, you will want to obtain a number of different types of effective antiaging products.

You will want to ensure that your regimen includes cleansers that are designed to include antiaging properties. In this regard, you will want to avoid cleansers that dry the skin or that are too harsh.

In addition to cleansers with antiaging properties, obtaining an effective exfoliating product is also in order. If you want to keeps your skin as youthful looking as possible, it is important that you remove accumulated dead skin cells with regularity.

As part of your antiaging, you will want to include a moisturizer. Keeping your skin supple is a vital step in combating the effects of aging. Finally, you can avail yourself of some of the other antiaging products that are available on the market such as toning and firming gels and creams.

By adopting a thorough skin care and maintenance program that you utilize on a daily basis, you will have developed a true antiaging routine. Further, you should start such a routine early in life for the maximum benefit. In the long run, your skin will be far healthier. Additionally, you will be able to better control the look and appearance of fine lines and wrinkles through such a regular skin care regimen.

Of course, in the end you need to understand that there is no Fountain of Youth. There are no skin care products that have antiaging qualities that will reverse the sands of time. Rather, the best you can hope for when it comes to the antiaging products that are available on the market today is to reduce some of the appearances that are associated with the aging process. Specifically, and has been mentioned, through a comprehensive antiaging regimen, you will be able to reduce the look of some fine lines and wrinkles.

One of my earliest memories is of my mother cleaning with what looked to me like cooking ingredients. She would be listening to the radio as she poured baking soda, lemon, and vinegar combinations on the surfaces of our home. Here are a few basic household ingredients and items you can use to clean your home.

Vinegar Uses:

Vinegar actually cleans much like an all-purpose cleaner. All you need is to mix a solution of equal parts of water and vinegar in a spray bottle and you have a solution that will clean most areas of your home. Vinegar is a great natural cleaning product as well as a disinfectant and deodorizer. It’s always best to test any cleaner on a hidden area first to make sure no color change or damage occurs. Be aware that improperly diluted vinegar is acidic and can eat away at tile grout. Vinegar isn’t a good idea to use on marble surfaces, either. And, don’t worry about your home smelling like vinegar. The smell disappears when it dries. Some common uses for vinegar in the rooms of your house are…

Bathroom: Clean the bathtub, toilet, sink, and counter-tops. Use pure vinegar in the toilet bowl to get rid of unsightly rings. Flush the toilet to allow the water level to go down before pouring the undiluted vinegar around the inside of the rim. Scrub down the bowl. You can also mop the floor in the bathroom with a vinegar/water solution. Vinegar will also eat away the soap scum and hard water stains on your fixtures and tile leaving them shiny and beautiful.

Kitchen: Clean the top of the stove with equal parts vinegar and water. Most appliances can be cleaned with this same all purpose mix of vinegar and water. Counter-top surfaces can be cleaned and disinfected with the same spray. Use vinegar to clean floors and be amazed at the fresh shiny results.

Laundry Room: You can use vinegar as a natural fabric softener. This can be especially helpful for families with sensitive skin issues. Add ½ cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle in place of store bought fabric softener. Vinegar has the added benefit of breaking down laundry detergent more effectively. I like to use vinegar to clean my washing machine as well.

Lemon Juice Uses

Lemon juice is another natural substance that can be used to clean your home. Lemon juice can be used to dissolve soap scum and hard water deposits. Lemon is a great substance to clean and shine brass and copper. Try mixing lemon juice with vinegar or baking soda to make cleaning pastes. Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle baking soda on the cut section of the lemon. Use the lemon to scrub dishes, surfaces, and stains. Be aware that lemon juice can act as a natural bleach. It’s a good idea to test it out on a hidden area first. Mix 1 cup olive oil with ½ cup lemon juice and you have a furniture polish for hardwood furniture. One of my favorite uses for the fruit is to put a whole lemon peel through the garbage disposal. It freshens the drain and the kitchen. Orange peels can be used with the same results. Lemon juice can also be used to treat stains because of its natural bleaching qualities.

Baking Soda Uses

Baking soda can be used to scrub surfaces in much the same way as commercial non-abrasive cleansers. Baking soda is great as a deodorizer. Place a box in the refrigerator and freezer to absorb odors. Put it anywhere you need deodorizing action. I’ve used it in trash cans, laundry, and even my sons super smelly sneakers. Baking soda makes a great addition in the laundry room as well. Baking soda is actually one of the most versatile cleaners on the planet.

Other Natural Cleaners

There are quite a few other options for natural cleaners. You might be surprised to learn that things like ketchup, rice, coffee grounds, and other kitchen ingredients can actually do a fantastic job at cleaning house.

You can also always buy commercially available natural cleaners, but be aware of what you need to look for in a green cleaning product before you buy. Be sure to learn about how to read labels on the products you are shopping for. Many of these commercial products use natural ingredients that you may have in your home, but not all green cleaners are created equal.

Via www.dermtv.com – Younger looking, more beautiful and healthy skin doesn’t require skin salves that contain the purest water from the top of the Himalayas. In fact, you can attain younger looking, more beautiful and healthy skin by following a simple and easy regiment of three inexpensive skincare products that are available at your local pharmacy or convenience store. And the best part about it is that this can all cost you less than $50. Dr. Schultz will share which products these are. Transcription To have and maintain younger, healthier looking and more beautiful looking skin, there are three essential skincare products that you need to use everyday. First is a gentle chemical exfoliant like glycolic acid which helps to remove the dead cells on the surface. This gives you brighter, lustrous, more even colored skin. The second product is sunscreen which obviously helps to prevent sun damage, particularly lines and wrinkles, dark spots, broken capillaries and even more importantly skin cancer. The third is an antioxidant. I prefer Vitamin C products. They are very important at giving you additional protection against the sun. So any energy from the sun that gets past your sunscreen can be neutralized by the topical antioxidants. They also help renew your skin and make it a more even color.

This is part 1 of a skin care series I have been working REALLY hard on. If you are watching this, please be sure to watch part 2 and 3 of this vid. There will be more to this project touching on each skin type, concerns, and product recomendations from the drugstore as well as dept, stores/Sephora,Ulta, etc.. I don’t mind reviewing products for my subscribers, but you must understand that if it isn’t something I am familiar w/, I will need time to look up its ingredients. I REALLY hope this is helpful to anyone wanting to know about the world of skincare, how to keep your skin functioning at its best and what to avoid when choosing a product! Now Don’t think because I said that SOME botanicals and essential oils are bad for the skin, that I think Parabans and Sulfates are good. They ARE NOT! MUSIC playing in the background is 30 Seconds to Mars and Sublime

Although, if a product I require for a tutorial is not available as a press sample I will buy it myself. So, some products (the majority) I receive at my request from companies and some I purchase myself, but regardless of the origin of the item, it will always be reviewed with the utmost integrity and honesty. Most of the time I only feature products I like as I only call in products that I am pretty sure will be good. I tend not to feature products I have been sent that I do not like as I feel there is no point in giving companies a bad name and if the product is no good I would not wish to use it in a tutorial. However, if I …
